Amrita is a biologist currently focusing on expanding availability of sequence-defined antibodies to increase reproducibility in scientific work. Before that, she graduated from Caltech, where she studied the role of sterols in the Hedgehog pathway, a key player in developmental biology and certain types of cancer. Her previous experience also includes methods to deal with increasingly common antibiotic-resistant infections.

Her personal projects include a Bayesian analysis with Stan, board game interfaces hosted via bots on Telegram, and volunteer work in local communities.
